In the process of looking for a potential sound track we have visited several sites containing copyright free content in order to legally accompany our video with a soundtrack. Firstly we visited AKM music where we trialed out 2 separate tracks which we imported into iMovie to trial out which would fit better to our thriller style genre.After realising these two tracks were not genre specific to our trailer we concluded we would like something sower beat that would work better with the transition from shot to shot within the trailer. We then went on to visit a sight called Royalty Free where many artist and open source producers had uploaded their work, the sight also provided us with sound effects that were free and accessible for us to download and simply import to accompany our visuals.
We also sampled many live sounds that were used to intensify our location areas, for example we used a condenser microphone to record the sound of passing vehicles from outside Marianas house in order to give our trailer a much fuller sounding atmosphere in terms of sound effects.
